Cerro Anón Reserva 1999

The river Ebro flows through La Rioja from West to East and it is right in the middle of its course, passing through the city of Logrono that Bodegas Olarra is situated. A place where nature and man join forces to produce truly outstanding wines. Founded in 1973 by a group of notable businessmen who, as great lovers of Rioja wine and appreciative of quality, took the decision to produce the best Rioja wine on the market. Thanks to a perfect combination of traditional methods and the most advanced technology, Olarra has attracted some of the best wine making talent in Rioja producing wines with their own identity.
Wine Description: 70 % Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, 5% Mazuelo and 5% Graciano. Aged for 34 months in oak barriques and a further 3 years in bottle. A luminous ruby colour showing excellent harmony between the characteristics of bottle maturity and oak aging. Mellow with a long-lasting nutty flavour and a velvety finish. It will be drinking at its peak for the next few years.
